Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Big Clock Sunny Boy ].Clear medium to dark orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, citrus, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141008]

Cask @ Microbar, Manchester. Cloudy amber brown coloured ale with a frothy head. Has a floral-fruity aroma and taste with a bushy character in the former aspect. There’s a mid-bitterness to this ale too.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Certainly strong but feels like a weak stout. Very dark, it has some roasted malt with a gentle sweetness throughout its character.

Fox & Goose Beer Festival, Hebden Bridge. Golden coloured. Light and easy-drinking session ale with some hops and medium-bodied at best. Its nose has a sweetness.
