ABV: 4.6%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity hops, light apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt, fruity hops, apple notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181020]

500ml bottle from Crafty Merlin's, Darlington. Gluten Free. Coppery gold colour, white foam head laving lacing and aroma of biscuity malt, fruity hop, mango hint. Taste is malty, caramel, some biscuit, fruity, some hop and tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

500ml bottle from Crafty Merlins Darlington. Gluten Free. Orange amber gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of orangey citric hops. Taste is malt caramel, biscuit, citrusy, woody, pine, hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable

ABV: 4.6%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, toasted - roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, light bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, bread, dark malt, toasted - roasted, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181017]

Cask at the Masons Arms. Pours very pale yellow with a light haze and a thin white head. Aromas of lemon and light struck match. The sulphur is there on the taste too. Light malt sweet, light lemon again. Thin finish.

By cask at GBBF Winter, Sonnet Bar. Shared with Finn. Crystal clear golden body, bubbles on the surface, poor lacing. Moderate smell of herbal hops and a note of grain. Blended taste of bread, biscuit and oily hops. Mid-dry ending. Accepted. (Birmingham 04.02.2020).

By cask at GBBF Winter, Sonnet Bar. Shared with Finn. Bright golden body, patchy surface, fragile lacing. Modest smell of ripe fruits. Malt-fruity flavours, impact of dough and mid-sweet fruit. More sweet than bitter to a rather short end. So and so. (Birmingham 04.02.2020).

500ml bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle station. Gluten Free (below 20ppm). Dark brown-black colour with reddish tinge, foamy biege head leaving lacing and aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Taste is smokey, malt, roasted, ash, with coffee, dark chocolate & dried fruity notes and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty earthy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
