Description
Ride Brewing Cø was founded in 2016 by Dave Lannigan to brew interesting and inventive beers a stones throw from the River Clyde in Glasgow. Since then, the brewery has grown to a bigger premises and increased the scale of production to a 5BBL brew kit as well as several smaller kits for more experimental or guest beers.

Our brewery is located in a courtyard just a stones throw from Glasgow’s River Clyde, and the trains heading into Central Station pass above our heads. We’re Scotland’s only railway arch brewery.

Half-pint, draught at BrewDog Shoreditch. Shared with Finn. Deep dark brownish body, fair lacing, tiny beige head. Caramel malty smell, scent of cocoa as well. Taste of grainy chocolate, earth, and toffee, slightly spiced. Roasted, smooth dark malty end. Fine depth. Likeable. (London 12.02.2023).

Crowler from BD Union Square. It pours clear darkest brown with a decent frothy light tan head. The aroma is toasty, bitter - sweet, nutty, light umami, dried fruits, dried orange peel, cranberry, cherry, jammy vibes, cacao nibs and toasty malts. The taste is dry, toasty, lightly charred, light umami, cacao nibs, dried fruits, cherry, plum, fig, dried peel, touch of spice, coffee grounds, liquorice, nutty and a touch of alcohol with a toasty, charred finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. A scotch ale combined with a black ipa is the vibes I'm getting. Decent stuff.

Keg at BD Tower Hill, 07/12/21. Almost clear orange amber with an off white covering that dissipates edgewards. Nose is syrupy fruit akin to tinned peach, sweet melon, sweet vibes, straw. Taste comprises bitter sweet fruits, sugary, grass, soft malts, herb, hay bale, light yeast. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Kind of between a sweet sour and saison but overly sweet for my liking and delivering on neither front. Passable affair at best and doesn't deliver on the relatively hefty ABV.
