Description
Based in an 18th century granary barn in the picturesque village of Lodsworth on the Cowdray estate, Langham Brewery nestles in the beautiful South Downs National Park between the historic market towns of Midhurst and Petworth on the A272. We love our home in the countryside and we pride ourselves on being part of our local community and use our micro-brewery to support a variety of organisations which work for the benefit of the people and landscape in this beautiful area.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Black with a beige head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt, chocolate and licorice. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Oily and soft. 191018

Tried at the Nottingham beer festival 2018. Almost black colour with a thin head. Aroma was dry fruity. Taste light bitter. Medium body.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2018 - Day 1 🇬🇧 [ Great British Beer Festival 2018 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.

[ As Langham GRRB (Green Rock River Brew) ].
ABV: 4.0%. Clear light to medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, fruity malt, citrus, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180807]

Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 1 07/08/2018. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a a lasting loose white head. Aroma is soft tangerine, floral citrus, Base malts. Flavour is composed of white bready grains, pithy, orange rind, grassy citrus.. Palate is semi sweet grains, lowish carbonation. Ok.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Bright clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry, modest carbonation. Dry pale malts, dry floralness. Insipid citrus. Dry finish. Dry and insipid.

Pint on tap at the Quadrant, Brighton. Bronze beer with solid white head. Touches of lacing. Zero carbonation. Slight malt nose. Malty, burnt toffee. Finish is smoky and bitter. It's OK.
