Crowler from BD sheps boost, at home, 19/11/20. Clear reddish amber with a handsome dusty beige cap. Nose is sweet malts, caramel, orange peel, light pine, sugar dusting, dried fruit esters. Taste comprises brown bread base, biscuit, caramel, blood orange, pine needle, mellow tropical fruit esters, red grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, light dryness in the close which is peppered with balanced dusty hop bitterness. Seems to be a little RED IPA revolution going down in the UK at the mo ... haven't had one in ages and I reckon 3 or more in the past month and all top end exponents of the style such as this one.
Crowler from BrewDog online for the collabfest 2020. Deep reddish brown colour with a white head. Malty and citrus, hints of caramel, light sweet, slight dry herbal and floral then moderately bitter to growing bitter finish.
On tap at neon raptor Nottingham. Lightly hazed golden colour with no real head. Aroma and taste are passionfruit sour to fruity. Hints of a salty tang.
