Bottle from Green's of Ellon. It pours a crystal clear deep gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fairly sweet, soft bready malts, biscuit, bread & butter pudding, touch grass, hay and nuttiness. The taste is pleasantly crisp, grassy, straw, hay, pretty clean, sweet biscuity malt, bitter - sweet character, honey grain, floral accents and some peppery spice with a dry finish. Average body and moderate+ fizzy carbonation. Actually think this works quite well. Decent.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours darkest brown to black with a small dark tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, chocolate covered coffee beans, vanilla, bourbon soaked oak, toasty, earthy, choc chip cookies, pie crust and a touch of tobacco. The taste is slick, rich roasted malt, quite bitter actually, toasty, nutty, charred oak, touch of burnt toast, vanilla, choc chip cookies, spicy, toothy, chewy, tannin, coffee, dark fruits, cacao, some alcohol and praline with a toasty finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Rather nice, but I think the espresso version takes the win.

Bottle. Black body with a tan head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Flavour of milk chocolate and coffee. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Rich, mellow and smooth. Drinks as easily as a beer with half the ABV. Excellent.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours cloudy yellow - gold with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, white peach, yellow plum, melon floury bread, creaminess and some gummy bears. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, touch of bitterness, straw, grassy, green, minerality, floury bread, pithy, soapy citrus and some stone fruit with a dry finish. Light+ body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not a huge amount to it, but drinkable enough.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy golden - orange with a dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet, powdery, floury bread, ripe sweet ripe fruits, peach, papaya, mango, um bungo, slightly artificial vibe of gummy candy and tinned fruit. The taste is fairly crispy upfront which is nice, no bitterness, smooth, juicy, plenty of ripe tropical fruits, peachy, mango, papaya, fruit smoothie, um bungo, refreshers and a twist of citrus with a soft, short finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Really has that um bungo thing going down. Fun stuff.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours black with a decent bubbly light tan head. The aroma is rich roasted action, smooth chocolate vibes, choc chip cookies, dried fruits, currants, fruit cake, coffee grounds, some umami and dull smoke. The taste is firmly dry and fairly bitter upfront, dark roasted malt, umami, burnt toast, liquorice, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, toasted spice, peppery, coffee grounds, ashy, dried fruits and toasted fruit cake. Finish is bitter and charred. Fulsome body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Flavourful, but has a bit of a burnt note. The espresso version is big step up from the base imo.
