Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - opaque black with an attractive crema head. Nose - deep coffee bean and fresh coffee. Sweet chocolate note too. Taste - sweet chocolate and rich coffee. Palate - medium to full bodied, creamy body. Still fairly sweet on the finish but some roast. Overall - not usually a fan of adding coffee to stouts but this is good.

Keg at Brewdog, Bristol 21/12/2021. Hazy and on the boundary between pink and purple in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Big raspberry and dark berry character, with a tart edge, some blueberry sweetness and a touch of sourness in the fruity finish. A pleasant drink.
