Bottle from Longstock Farm Shop and Cafe. Malty arom with some dark berries. Chestnut. Creamy translucent white head clings to the rim. Medium with a zesty sour edge. Fruity. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable characterful bitter. Good stuff.

Cask at Hants Oktoberfest 2019. Choc malty aroma. Dark cola brown. Bubbly beige head. Some cherry in the berry souness. Underlying creamy malt choc. Light. Thin. Flat. Astringent. Standard style with cherry additives. Althought I see it's actually blackberry.

Cask at the Ealing beer festival 2019. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a halo of halo of white head. Aroma is buttered bread, earrh. Grassy citrus.. Flavour is composed of tangy green apple, light vinegar,. Waxy. Palate is tangy, sharp, lowish carbonation. Terrrible.

10/7/2019. Cask at the 30th Ealing Beer Festival. Pours dark amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, stewed fruits, caramel, biscuit and hops. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

500ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Coffee, plain chocolate and some earthy notes in the aroma. Coffee, roasted malt and some earthy notes all stand out in the taste. Very drinkable.

500ml Bottle - Golden/light amber in colour. Marmalade and grain in the aroma. Crisp taste with notes of tea, biscuity malt and marmalade. Nicely balanced and fairly enjoyable but more dry hopping would make it even better.
