Cask @ GBBF 2014. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter caramel aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter caramel finish.

Bottle thanks to SarkyNorthener. Black dark ruby beer lasting beige head. Not a huge amount of condition. Some fruity dark malts. Dark plum and damson flavours. Ok decent dark beer with good dark fruits. Decent. I liked the dark fruits in particular.

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is light malt light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth light skunky yeast malt citrus hop bitter palate. Moderate to light bodied with soft carbonation.

On cask at Post Office Vaults Brum with Sarky and Rich. Clear gold no head. Some syrup on aroma. Decent bit of hop on finish some slightly orange juice sour. Good.

Cask stillage at the Birmingham CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy round head. The aroma is malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a fresh smooth hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A very easy drinking session ale with lots of hoppy goodness.

Hand-pulled pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 18th Nov 2014. Good amber body with a full white head that gave off some good lacing. The nose and taste was light malts initially with a semi-sweet feel, some wood esters too. A mini hop bite arrives mid-sip and the beer as a whole is an easy drinking blend that although has no strong lead is a pleasant Bitter that ensured I had a second pint before going home.

Cask stillage at the Birmingham CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with little life. The aroma is boozy alcohol malt. The flavour is strong bitter with a malty barnyard rich alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A super strong beer but very smooth and limited alcohol burn. A great beer indeed.

Cask, half-pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 6th Nov 2014. Pours very dark brown with ruby traces around the edges a small creamy head tops off the brew. Aroma is dark malts with and bitter coffee and chocolate. Taste wise it had no sweetness and was very dry in the mouth, some dark berry flavours can be added to the coffee and chocolate from the nose. Decent and different, I liked it. Do not usually drink Stouts at lunchtime, but I am glad I did on this occasion.
