Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Clear brown with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and labre larver. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 171018

17/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, fruit and hops. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Deep amber brown colour with reddish tinge, tan foam head leaving lacing and malty aroma. Taste is sweetish, malty, toffee, fruity, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK

Cask (handpump) @ Half Moon, 130 Northgate, Darlington, Durham England DL1 1QS. [ As Crafty Monkey Crafty Copper ].Clear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, fruity malt, pale malt, light nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, pale malt, light nutty, fruit sour notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180725] 6-3-6-3-11

Cask at Half Moon, Darlington. Amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of biscuity malt. Taste is malt, toffee, biscuit, sweetish with yeasty bready notes and some bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bready finish. Quite OK.
