ABV: 4.2%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity hops - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, minerals, fruity hops, citrus touch, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191010]

3/3/2023. Cask at the 46th Loughborough Beer Festival. Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, caramel, biscuit, orange, bread. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, average to soft carbonation. Nice bittersweet finish. Well balanced and very good.

Gravicask at Nottingham Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival, first day. Shared with Finn. Fawn-coloured head, jet black body, faint lacing. Caramel to a roasted malty nose, inviting. Flavoured with black malts; dark chocolate, bread, and liquorice. Plain roasted malty finish. Medium bodied. Likeable. (Nottingham 12.10.2022).
