Description
At Ashgrove Farm in rural Wiltshire, we converted an old barn into a brewery using our natural resources from the Estate to give people a taste of Britishness in our brews.
Gritchie Brewing Company is part of Ashgrove Farm, nestled within 1,000 acres of rural British countryside within the Ashcombe Estate. Two of our main ingredients are truly homegrown, the Maris Otter malt barley that we harvest from our fields and the local water sourced beneath the ground of our land.
We brew using our homegrown barley and water, drawn from our aquifer on the Wiltshire/Dorset border. Our love of beer and pub culture inspired us to blend old world traditions with new world ingredients.

On cask at Beerbohm, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light English hops and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with soft bready malt. Not much going on here. There's a somewhat fungal character on the finish. Meh.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Gloucester Beer Festival 27 April 2018. Golden, with a thin, white, head. Floral hops, some rich malts malts, jammy sweetness, citrus fruits and a slight earthiness before a dryish finish. A good beer from a new brewery.
