Description
Nestled on a hill overlooking the River Tyne, surrounded by workshops and fishmongers, Flash House Brewery opened the doors to our North Shields Tap Room in April 2016. From our 5bbl Plant, only a stones throw from the revitalised Fish Quay, we brew small batch, expertly crafted world beers in the old heartland of the industrial North East.

30/5/2021. Can shared with Dan and ITFCfan, from The Town Mouse, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Pours clear dark ruby brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, fruit cake, roasted malt, dried fruit, cherry, sultanas. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Rich and silky finish, enjoyed this.

Third by cask at GBBF Winter, Sonnet Bar. Shared with Finn. Black body, spotty lacing, patchy surface. Prominent smell of mint chocolate. Taste like After Eight, bead-like malts beneath. Prolonged ending. Okay, unvaried though. (Birmingham 04.02.2020).
