Description
Rigg & Furrow is an authentic farmhouse brewery. Giving a new lease of life to our old milking parlour we create new takes on Farmhouse beers - beers originally brewed for thirsty farm workers. Brewing by hand, our independent, family run brewery creates exciting, innovative, fermentation focused beers.

15/1/2022. Can from CentrAle, Newcastle shared with ITFCDan. Pours slightly hazy pale orange gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of mashed fruit, citrus, grapefruit, passion fruit, lychee, yeasty soapy edge. Light to moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness, light tart. Medium body, slightly creamy, foamy carbonation. Pretty good.

Bottle from Hydrology. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of cucumber, light sour funk, faint spice. Taste is clean, cucumber, lactic funk, light spice. Hunt of juniper. Nice.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep brown to black with a creamy beige head. Nose - lavender, oatmeal and creamy chocolate. Taste - pine, resin and chocolate. Oatmeal again. Palate - medium bodied, creamy in texture. Dry resinous finish. Overall - more of a hopped stout than a black IPA.

Can from Hydrology. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of herbal hops, faint dark malt. Taste is light bitter, liquorice. Burnt orange. Almost menthol. Pine. Slightly thin for a 6%er, but nice enough.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a coppery orange with a huge fluffy lacing off white head. Aroma is strong bitter hops, fruity, citrus, grassy. Taste is bitter hops, fruity, citrus, earthiness, piney.

Thin beige head on a hazy golden coloured body. Pine, sweet citrus & hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a nicely carbonated dry back. Sweet citrus, pine, tropical fruit & bitter citrus tastes with a lovely tangy finish. Excellent
