Rigg & Furrow is an authentic farmhouse brewery. Giving a new lease of life to our old milking parlour we create new takes on Farmhouse beers - beers originally brewed for thirsty farm workers. Brewing by hand, our independent, family run brewery creates exciting, innovative, fermentation focused beers.

Can at the strait and narrow. Hazy and very pale yellow. Aroma and taste are light citrus. Crisp and slight dry. Light bodied.

Pours cherry Red with a lacing pinkish head. Aroma: plenty of blackcurrant, grapes and lactose. Taste: blackcurrant, yeast and sour grapes. Sour and lactic palate.

A deep purple beer with a pink head. Aroma of tart blackberries, yeast, herbs. Taste of sour blueberries, farmhouse yeast, spices.

Can split with Dave in the hotel in Hexham, picked up from the bottle shop on Newcastle station, 15/05/2025.
Hazed orange topped with a moderate off white cap.
Nose is mellow funk, lemon rind, straw, herb.
Taste comprises yeast esters, hedgerow, lemon drizzle, grass, straw, light barnyard nip.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light tangy edge.

Dark brown with beige foam. Low carbonation, full but not too heavy body. Lots of roastiness, ash, dark chocolate and coffee. Some sour noted boosting drinkability. Bold finish with roasted coffee, dark chocolate and lots of campfire smokiness. Alcohol well hidden. Very good.

440ml can from Hop & Bottle in Berwick upon Tweed, pours brown with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of bread, dark fruits, caramel, toffee, rye, hints of spice & roasted malt. Medium body. Slightly sweet malty finish
