Description
In 1908 Ernesto Günther and a group of investors founded in the city of Cusco, a branch of the Cervecería Alemana Günther & Tidow. In 1939 Cervecera Alemana Günther & Tido changed its name to Compañía Cervecera del Sur del Perú (Cervesur) and increased its production. In 2000 the company with its plants in Arequipa and Cusco, and with the popular brand Cusqueña, becomes part of the Backus Group (Backus y Johnston), thereby consolidating itself to the point of turning it into a company capable of competing in a globalized environment. Finally, in 2015, the Backus Group becomes part of AB InBev.

L’intensità olfattiva è normale e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il gusto al naso ha i sentori di orzo. Il cappello di schiuma ha scarsa tenuta, a bollicine medie e bassa carbonazione. Sotto la frizzantezza è data da bollicine fini, con carbonazione vivace, persistente ed insistita. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è rotondo. Il dolce è medio e l’amaro moderato. L’intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva. Il finale è pulito e dissetante. Alla bocca l’aroma ha le percezioni di miele, cioccolato, frutta secca e pane tostato.

Bottled thanks to Nisse666! Sampled on February 6, 2016 at crazy ticking evening with Thomas.Clear straw yellow color, small white head. Sweet, some DMS, hints of cardboard, some sulhpur scent, also gypsym/dry wall and some tart apples. Tart, a bit harsh taste, some hints of grains. Short grainy aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, low to very low bitterness.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of heavy, shared with him and Marko. Almost black coloured, small to medium sized tan head, caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, brown sugar and touch of fruits with rather sweet finish. Just as I’ve expected.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel aroma. Fruity malty grainy caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty grainy caramel finish.

Thanks heavy for bringing this from Wien. Shared with him and ogivlado. Dark brown tinged with amber. Off white head. Sweetish malty, caramelly, herbal aroma, not bad. Sweetish taste, roasty, some dark chocolate. Actually, nice sweet, just too sugary, carries on into the aftertaste. Actually would’ve been a far better beer if allowed to ferment more.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, bread, and malt, leading to a dry finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber to brown with a small to fully gone head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish. Dark malty. Sweet, roasted metallic and breadish. Toffee and dark roasted malty finish.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. My country # 58. Dark, amber color with a thin, off white head. Roasted aroma with caramel malts, chocolate, coffee and grasses. Taste is sweet. Medium body. Finishes dry and slightly bitter with soapy hints and chocolate. Okay.
