Flaske 500ml. Batch 45. Gave fra Rune. Drukket hjemme 24 Jul 17. Gyldenbrun. Svakt uklar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Lett krydderaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken lett fruktig med innslag av krydder. Bra - men uvariert.

Gusher of the fountain-forming kind. Cleaning up took a good 15 minutes. Beige head. Opaque black body. Sugary earthy caramelly aroma with spicy notes. Sweet roasty spicy taste with licorice notes. Mid-bodied. Flat mouthfeel. Sweetish earthy roasty aftertaste is too sweet, too spicy, and too licoricey. Can't drink this. (0.5l bottle, from Gulating Strømmen.)

Flaske (4,7%?) fra Gulating Stavanger, delt med Ovesen etter tapping av vår nye Citra single hop ipa: lett uklar kobbergylden med flott skum som varer. Fin aroma av mesk, appelsinmarmelade og gress. Deilig, typeriktig smak av engelsk bitter hvor gress, engelsk appelsinmarmelade og hint av eukalyptus er det jeg først tenker på. Denne kunne jeg gjerne drukket denne på en britisk pub uten å mukke. Fin bitterhet i den tørre avslutningen. Synd at der er så lite forbrukerinformasjon på flasken. Nederst på etikettene står det bare "ideligen". Iflg svensk synonymordbok betyr det ofte, uopphørlig, uavbrutt, omigjen, jevnt - så de ønsker antakelig at vi skal komme tilbake til deres øl gang på gang. Denne bitteren kan jeg ihvertfall tenke meg å oppsøke igjen!

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 10.06.17. Cloudy straw colour. Persistent off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma of pale malt, mash, meadows, grass, marmalade and hops. Pale malt and medium bitterness is lingering on. Good drinkability!

Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: brunsvart med flott skum som varer. Fløyelsmyk aroma med kakao, vanilje, sjokolade og kaffe. Smaken er også myk og behagelig. En slank og lettdrikkelig porter, selv om den blir litt vandig i avslutningen. 6-4-7-3-14.

Så og si svart farge med høyt lys beige skum. Lukter sjokolade, vanilje og litt kaffe. Mild i smak. Noe vannete. Mild og litt kakao i avslutningen.
