Draught at Kaltenberg Sörözö, Budapest, on June 21, 2014.As "Red".Hazy brown color, lasting teal head with lacing. Sweet, grainy, malty, hints of toasty scent. Malty, light roasted, grainy taste. Grainy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel with perhaps a bit low CO2-level. Medium to medium high herbal bitterness with a dry finish.

Draught at Kaltenberg Sörözö, Budapest, on June 21, 2014.As "Light".Clear straw yellow color, fluffy white head. Leaves nice looking lacing on the glass. Sweet, malty, light metalic and meaty, cream scent. Malty, dry, hoppy, herbal taste. Bitter, hoppy, dry, herbal aftertaste. Medium to a bit fizzy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Well attenuated andhighly drinkable.

On tap. Clear golden body, white head. Aroma and taste of bread with grassy and floral hops. The finish is quite hoppy. Nothing extra, just a nice everyday beer.

04/08 On tap at the brewpub. A bit more hazy than the other two, red colored with smaller head. Aroma of some grainy and caramel notes, like their dark, only with a hint of hops which are more pronounced in its flavor, making in more similar to pale one on palate. Medium bodied with moderate, slightly herbal hop finish. This is something very close to mix of their pale and dark lagers and it happened just as these usually show - they have flaws of the both, but merits of none. Might just be the batch but it was definitely the most uninteresting one on the place.

04/08 On tap at the brewpub. Almost clear reddish brown body with small head. Decent grainy hay and caramel malt aroma, a bit woody as well. Flavor takes on these woods, being more acidic, vinous than really bitter, with some roasted coffee and caramel malt. Medium to thin bodied with shorter finish, mostly following the flavor. Not bad, but unimpressive with wnough flaws I can say I’m gentle with grades.

04/08 On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden bodied with small head. Fine herbal hop and flowery malt. Slightly bitter flavor, grassy/herbal as well, decent yeasty chalkiness, bread malts. Pleasantly rounded and clean. Medium bodied with longer, bitterish herbal finish. Simple, yet effective, a thirst quencher, more than a decent helles.

Draught at Főzdefeszt III, Budapest. Golden coloured, small white head, light hoppy nose. Sweet malty, hoppy and mild fruity with pleasant bitterish dry hoppy finish. Ok beer.

Unfiltered version of the pale, presumably only for the fest. Poured a Hazy yellow-golden body with a thick white head. Grainy, slightly hoppy taste with some sweet maltiness. Grainy, dry, soapy, lemony. Pretty similar to the regular version.
