We are an award winning microbrewery based in North Norfolk. We use traditional brewing techniques to create a range of sleek, modern and full flavour real ales which are available in seven different breeds. We supply our bottle conditioned and cask conditioned real ale to outlets all over Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge and now London. From cask. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light breadish. Bitter, toasted and breadish malty. Dry, herbal and dark roasted malty. Bitter and dry hoppy finish.

Sampled @ GBBF day 3. Very dark brown to black color, small to average sized tan head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, quite roasty, lightly earthy, decently bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

Bottle - Christmas spice, plum, banana and boozy malts. Deep brown with a beige head. Dark malts, spice and a bubbly body. Something is wrong, but for some reason drinkable out of curiosity.

Cask gravity at the 2014 GBBF. Opaque black brown with a lasting.cream loose head. Aroma is dark fruits, tangy berry and ashy roast, flavour is smooth milk choc, lactose sugars, smooth palate with moderate carbonation. Milky.. Lingering soft roast and tart berry.

Cask at GBBF 2014. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is dark chocolate, cocoa, earth, toast, caramel, earth and brown sugar. The taste is toasty, cocoa, pepper, earth, wood, leather, pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Alright.

Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, small bubbly off white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Light malt. Floralness that turns a little soapy. Light orange and lemon citrus. Marmalade. Light dry finish. Marmalade bitter linger. Shame about the off note.

Cask at the Reading beer festival. Cloudy gold in hue. Nice soft mouthfeel with mellow ginger and lemon. The ginger has a kick by the end but it’s a decent balanced beer overall. Compared this side-by-side with Peerless Ninja Jinja and this one won by s country mile.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours black with creamy off white head. Sweet roasted chocolate aroma with vanilla and hint of dark fruit. Medium body, smooth texture, soft carbonation. Dark ale / mild, rather than full on stout. Much enjoyed.
