Description
We are an award winning microbrewery based in North Norfolk. We use traditional brewing techniques to create a range of sleek, modern and full flavour real ales which are available in seven different breeds. We supply our bottle conditioned and cask conditioned real ale to outlets all over Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge and now London. So keep your eyes and palates peeled for the Panther’s mark of high quality real ale!

Formed in 2010 by Martin James, taking over the premises of Reepham Brewery. Taken over by Ivan Browne in 2025 following Martin's retirement.

Bottled (from Beers Of Europe). Copper colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is bready, nutty, mild berryish and yeasty notes. Flavour is mildly eggy, nutty, grassy, quite malty with some mild bitter hopping as well.

Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, grass, dark berry. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hoppy, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110429]

Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at chriso’s. Pours cloudy gold with a fine, white head. Pithy citrus nose with some light hay. Dry lemon peel bitterness to the flavor, lightly sweet, some straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Very dry finish - bone dry, in fact. Some light grass with faint sweetness. Interesting beer. Surprisingly dry.

Bottled. Goldeny amber colour with a vrry big foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, wheat, some citrus and mild fruity, spicy and toffeeish notes as well. Flavour is fruits, caramel, toffee, some mild earthy notes as well as some mild wheaty and floral notes in the finish.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is ginger, some floral and fruity hoppyness. Flavour is mild ginger with some fruity and floral notes. Quite pleasantly balanced. 7 3 7 3 14. Cask@The Murderers, Norwich. Golden colour, no head. Aroma is ginger, sweet malts, some caramel and mild floral hops. Flavour is ginger, malts, fruits, herbs and some mild hoppyness as well. Very balanced, and leaves just a slight burn in the aftertaste. 7 3 7 3 14.

Bottle 500ml.Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt malt, coffee, smoke notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, burnt malt, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110619]

Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110619]

Bottled. Pitch black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is mild roasted malts, some dark fruityness, coffee and some mild berries. Flavour is roasted malts, berryish, rather metallic notes as well.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, nectar, mild earth, and some slight sweet malts. Flavour is quite much the same with some rather bittery notes.

Cask gravity at Egham spring festival 2011. Hazy red amber beer with lasting beige head. Decent enough sweetish beer with earthy hop finish. Fine
