A nice, smooth stout. Quite malty and dry with a bit of dark chocolate. Not loads else going on but it's decent.

Bottle from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Clear blonde with a frothy head. Clean looking, and it's a clean tasting helles lager. Also seen as Helles Lager

Half pint on cask at Southampton Arms, pours a watery cola brown, fairly dark, sudsy off white head. Nose has malt, molasses, licorice, rootbeer, light cocoa. Flavors of cocoa powder, 3 musketeers bar, licorice. Finishes with some tannins and more body that you expect at 4%.

Cask at the Kentish Belle, Bexleyheath. Gold pour with a white head. Nose of root ginger, marmalade, citrus. Flavours of bitter citrus, light hit of ginger. Bitter finish.

Cask @ Medicine Tap, Rochdale. Dark copper with a creamy head. Sweet first, its rum is a close second, with the rum best in its nose and aftertaste. A sticky-sweet ale.

Tight creamy beige head stayed on a hazy light brown coloured still body. Sweet berry, demerara, raisin & spices aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated & clean on the back. Sweet citrus, brown sugar, malt, toffee & yeast tastes.

Appearance is brown, with a huge beige head. Aroma is malty, bread, dark fruit, berry fruit, banana, clove. Taste- toffee, malty bread, raisin, clove and spicy hints, banana, hop bitterness. Toasty undertones.
