Pours pitch black with a tiny light brown head. Excellent aroma of heavy roastiness, chocolate, vanilla, oak, wood, cocoa, smoke and coffee notes. Taste is complex but extremely well balanced mix of smooth roastiness, molasses, wood, oak, vanilla, whisky, cocoa, chocolate and coffee. Finish is slick and slightly roasty with notes of espresso, chocolate, vanilla and wood. Complex but extremely well balanced imperial stout. Tasty, tasty stuff.
