From can. Tropical fruit and citrus aromas. Medium bodied with soft cracker and hay upfront turning to bitter peel in the lasting finish.

Unreadable canned on date drunk 9/5/16.
Tangerine-orange body has plentiful copper-bronze-golden hues and a medium-sized, white head atop showing modest retention.
Seems one would expect a big juice bomb, given the name, but I guess that’s not the case here. Rather, should be renamed citrus patrol, as it’s FULL of grapefruit, orange and lemon. Light cherry and pineapple augment the hop nose, with light but substantial caramel malts behind it. Some alcohol, light to moderate resin, detract.
Dextrinous body is nonetheless well-attenuated, with caramel, bread and biscuit lingering behind the huge grapefruit and orange notes. Lots of bitterness, with light pine and sharp alcohol. Malts are too dry and leave way too much acidity on the finish, fatiguing the palate quickly.

Can at the brewery, 7/16/16.
Dark chocolate body tends to a deep tan on the edges, with a small tan head showing moderate to low retention. Good clarity.
Coffee is immediately noted and it’s soft, easygoing and full of chocolate, plum and mild roast. Just as it should be. Dark chocolate, moderate roast and a touch of ash/char slowly dissolve in to a finish full of fudge and vanilla with even a touch of spiciness (must be the cinnamon, though it’s tastefully done and isn’t really noticeable as such). Nice balance, and very relaxed for a stout. I get tired of the heavy alcohol/roast/fudge monsters.
Soft, lightly watery, mildly sweet and still well-attenuated with a pleasing vanilla flavor, no cinnamon that I can find and a big coffee finish showing light fudge, roast, earth and plum-raisin. Almost foreign stout-like and really tastefully done on the adjuncts. It’s easy to overdo one of them, let alone three of them. Medium bodied, low carbonation, very drinkable.

Draught at the brewery, 7/16/16.
Deep, brassy-gold body shows a light haze and a medium-sized white head atop. Moderate to moderately strong retention.
Interesting nose, definitely a West Coast/New England hybrid, with the West Coast nature winning out, though it’s not obnoxiously full of pine and grapefruit as many in the style are. Rather, ruby red-like grapefruit notes mix with light mango and pineapple, with a strong spiciness, and light nectarine-peach on the end. Maybe a touch of alcohol dryness and plentiful biscuity malts, including a dollop of caramel, to balance.
Fruity, quite bitter, but not resinous and no stewed hop character thankfully. Lots of spiciness and nectarine, with dry pineapple and more grapefruit/orange on the finish. Sweetens somewhat with warming, giving good balance and a honey and light caramel maltiness. Seems like a big version of Keeper and that one was enjoyable. Touch of alcohol or other sharpness detracts slightly. Carbonation is medium and fairly engaging.

Pours an ever so slightly hazy golden straw from a can, thin white head, but quite actively effervescent. Nice lemon aroma continues in the mouth, with the addition of a nice hint of coriander and pineapple/mango notes. Dry, tart and slightly sour. Good beer.

Draught at Buk’s Cambridge, 4/30/16.
Hazy pale, straw-golden body is topped by a small amount of poorly-retained white head.
Lactic and tropical in the nose, the acids give a good complement to the pineapple/guava going on. Biscuits, cracker and light saltiness round out the nose with no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth, it’s moderately tart, light to moderately acidic and filled with interesting brett-like tropical fruits (turns out this is all hop driven, not brett). Spritzy carbonation is engaging/appropriate and there’s a good "chewiness"/grain to the biscuity malt texture. Very dry, finishing moderately acidic/lactic, with no flaw. Very straightforward, but clean and competent.

Poured into a snifter showing well filtered honey amber with half a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows sweet caramel malts with brief notes of pine in the background. The palate is moderately carbonated and medium bodied. Flavors of malt very well balanced with juicy, clean pine and light pineapple. Finish shows a moderate sharp IPA finish.

Pours an amber from the tap, nice lemony aroma, flavor is similar with a little biscuit thrown in there, not literally of course, ha ha ha. Ha. Where was I? Oh, the bottom of the beer. I’m a little drunk.

Can shared tonight at the meeting. Slightly hazy small off white head. Light earthy resinous with a light astringent hop character to it . Session IPA’s I just don’t get it.

Can shared tonight at the meeting. Slightly hazy small off white head. Resinous earthy pine with a bit of sweet bready malt. I went back a couple of times to revisit this one, its pretty good.
