A hazy golden amber ale with a thin white head. A light biscuitty malt with floral hops, restrained. In mouth, the hops hits you like in a battle, with citrus, and bitterness and a nice malt base, well balanced. Herbal and grainy, this is a very well done IPA. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Inbièrenationale IV, May 2007.

Thanks to JoeMcPhee for sharing - lightly hazy copper, with a soapy lace - explosive, tangy grapefruit hoppiness in the nose - a lot of pine and herbs - earthy hop character - more of the same in the flavor - not much to say except it is nicely balanced between malt and potent hops - it’s got the ineffable greatness that more awesome ipas have, so I will not even attempt to explain how good it is.

This beer was very drinkable but also snuck up on me and knocked me out. Pours from the growler a hazy orange, amber color with a soapy white head. Aroma is all citrus, orange and grapefruit mostly. Flavor was more of the same, flowers, citrus but also some nice malt anchoring the back. Finish is lasting bitterness and slightly thick on the tongue. I enjoyed drinking this.
