Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Golden amber with a scummy looking head; malty aroma; thin with some sweet malts and a reasonable bitterness with a touch of spice; but a rather watery finish. A rather basic pale ale, but itโs always good to find a new brewery - especially when itโs on your doorstep.
