Bottle from Longacres, Wokingham. Opaque chestnut brown. Thick foamy off-white head. Aroma has tangy berries, dark grains and a sweet edge. Flavourwise it got some woody bitterness with tart berries over a soft sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Interesting enough twiggy stuff.

Gravity cask at the 35th Ealing Beer Festival, Walpole Park, 08/07/2026.
Golden to copper topped with an off white head.
Nose is citric tinged straw, grains, herb.
Taste comprises biscuit, orange peel, straw.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with an earthy hop spattering.
Okay cask affair but not my idea of a session IPA (or IPA)!

10/7/2025. Cask at the Ealing Beer Festival 2025. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, lime, tequila, straw. Slight mucky notes developed. Good bitterness but seemed a bit muddled on the aroma. How many hops is too many hops?

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma combines light berries and malts. Opaque dark amber. Thin translucent white head sticks to the rim. Medium sour berries. Grainy edge. Peripheral damp malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Nothing interesting happening here.
