Cask at Greyfriars, Reading. Smoky Aroma? May be the pub?? Cloudy pale gold. Thin white head just clings to rim. Light bitter with a sweet and sour hefe edge. Mesium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. A boring Hefe .

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Nil aroma. Hazy light amber. Thin bubbly white head. Medium bitter. All quinine. Light bodied. Slick. Flat. Long astringent finish. They've gone for hoppy but it lacks dimension. Average at best.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Vague malty aroma. Golden. Frothy white head. Medium bitter. Spicy but not really getting any citrus. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat bodied, Dry finish. A poor attempt at an APA. This is on UT as a bitter - not sure where that came from but certainly could be your bog standard golden ale. Not a fan of this brewery.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. A rather flat looking amber pour with a ring of white head; biscuity aroma; biscuity malt taste with some caramel; then a light floral bitterness, follwed by a dry floral finish. Rather moreish.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Chocolate and malt aroma. Dark and glossy appearance, a cola brown on closer study. Thin white head soon ebbed away to some lonely single bubbles. Sweet with a sour seam. Chocolate and berries. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Had it a while ago and remembered enjoying it. A sour element I'd forgotten about but a decent mild with a tang and pleasant palate.
