[50cl bottle from the brewery.] A cloudy pale amber pour with a billowing white head; aroma of lemongrass and yeast; rather soapy in the mouth with a clean, fresh lemongrass taste and a bready malt body; then a bitter finish with lingering yeast.

500ml bottle from an Eton deli. Poured a murky copper colour with a lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is malt, big yeast, light woody hop. The flavour is light bitter and sour, with a yeasty, medicinal, mineral light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Best before June 2021. Stored upright for a week before placing in the fridge for 30 minutes prior to serving. Carefully poured, yet this beer was truly awful. Terrible in fact. Best of British? I don't think so.
