440ml can. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, dark malty and fruity, slightly nutty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, hints of honey, tonka beans, pecan nut, plum, raisin, black currant, fig, maple sirup, whiffs of alcohol. Taste is sweet, chocolately, dark malty, fruity and slightly nutty, notes of dark chocolate, tonka beans, hints of cinnamon, vanilla, honey, dark honey, pecan nut, a touch of plum, fig, black currant, some rye spiciness; lingering, minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Surprisingly light body and rather watery texture with creamy and viscous strands, smooth and cloying, carbonation disturbed palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Relatively well hidden alcohol, surprisingly light due to the carbonation, complex but homogeneous; a tad too turbulent to be a soporific sipper - delicious.

Can. Unclear yellow golden body under a small white head. Mild aroma of oranges, tangerine, and grapefruit with hint of alcohol. Taste has rather dominating alcohol sting and less fruit flavor with a sharp bitterness. Body feels a bit thin and short in aftertaste. Not to pleased with this one.

Can from Bierliefhebber webshop, Elsen, Netherlands and consumed at home Sunday 4th July 2021 listening to the new album by Snapped Ankles - Forest of Your Problems. Pours gold with a large white head, and much like the Blech Brut I've just had this is very juicy, smooth and creamy. The hops are singing here, and again like the Blech Brut beer there is lots of mango and pineapple. Super tropical, also sone citrussy freshness, notably pink breakfast grapefruit. Really good beer.
