Cask at Looking Glass, Stockton. Golden colour, white foam head and grainy aroma. Taste is grainy, malt caramel, some toffee and light bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry light bitter finish. OK.

Cask at Woollen Mill, Hungry Horse, Darlington. Gold amber colour, white foam head leaving some lacing and yeasty aroma. Taste is malty caramel, biscuit, fruity and light bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. OK.

Cask at the Fox Hole, Piercebridge. Pale gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and sulphury aroma. Taste is grainy, fruity, lemon-lime, citrus with hay and sulphur notes. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. OK.

Cask from Old Vic, Darlington. Dark brown colour, creamy beige foam head and malty aroma. Taste is chocolatey malt with some roasted, toasty notes and mild bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry malty finish. Quite OK.

Cask at the Darlington CAMRA 2016 Beer Festival at the Forum. Golden colour, white foam head and sulphur comes through in the aroma. Taste is pale malts, some citrus with a sulphury note and light bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. OK.
