Crowler from Dogtap. It pours clear deep reddish - brown with a decent khaki head. The aroma is nutty, earthy, woody, cereal, rivita, brown bread, toasty malts and a touch of sticky BBQ. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, sticky, caramel, molasses, earthy, malt loaf, rivita, brown bread, toasted spice, dried grass and wood with a dry finish. Average body and fine carbonation. Names can be deceiving. More like a malty boii. not bad overall

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear, rich honey-gold with a frothy, lasting white head. Lightly sweet with bready-biscuity pale malts, light hay, white bread, nips of grass. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Alright balance to finish, more crispy pale biscuits, light grainy notes, more hay. Basic but drinkable enough.
