Craft Islington. Bottleshare. Thanks to Mr Tipple. Hazy deep amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Somewhat insipid dark malts, touch of dry creamy sweetness. Papery citrus. Touch of hop spice. Very mild ripe fruits. Light finish. Wishy washy but I don't hate it.

Bottle at Craft Islington, thanks to Mr Swissle. It pours crazy cloudy dark brown - black with a thick beige head. The aroma is earthy, toasted nut, wood, burnt caramel and toffee. The taste is crisp, dry, toasted nut, malt - driven, earth, wood, fudge, toffee, oily and some charred notes. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad for a hoppy dark beer from Switzerland.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Tipple. Pours hazy golden-brown with a creamy, off-white head. Toasted grains in the nose, old citrus peel, pine needles. Light sweet flavour with more grainy character, old grains and orange peel, toasted pine. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with toasted grain husks, citrus peel. Meh, not the best.
