Clear deep brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very spicy, cloves, chocolate, caramel, dried fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: spicy start, cloves, mocha, dried fruits, pretty hoppy, liquorish. Aftertaste: overripe banana, cocoa powder, liquorish, roasted, some caramel, more liquorish.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As De Koperen Kat D’Oostpoort ].ABV: 6.0%. Clear dark dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light brown sugar, moderate yeasty, raisin - dried fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, raisin - dried fruit, sugary roasted malt, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft - lively. Bottle, medium sample. Hazy orange color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of some caramel and toffee, bit spicy yeast. Quite sweet in taste. Medium carbonation, thin to medium body. Typical belgian ale. Ok-ish.
