Draught @ Koperen Kat. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, yeast, berries, caramel. Flavor is malty, yeast, caramel, berries, juniper, little chocolate, a hint of smoke. Medium body, soft carbonation. 270814

Bottle @ Tulip Inn, Bodegraven. 1st glass poured with some huge chunks of yeast from the top of the bottle- nasty, 2nd glass poured a fairly clear pale yellow with a white head. Rated from the 2nd pour. Aroma is malty, yeast, little sweet, grass, light sourness aswell. Flavor is malty, loads of yeast, some flowers, light bread, grass, little sourness. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, light bitter finish. 270714

Draft at Doerak beer festival, delft. Pours hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of biscuity malt, caramel, yeast, floral aspects and fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Bottle 330ml. [ As De Koperen Kat Balthazar ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sugary, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, yeast, baking yeast - dough. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, yeast, messy, cookie - dough - yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140117]

Aroma is moderate malty, hay, pale malt, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, grass - dusty hops - dusty grass. Initial flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter, finish flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, dusty, grass, pale malt, dry, hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130926]

33cl bottle from ABCbeers. Thick creamy white head. Clear deep burgundy pour. A decent bock. Some sweetness but not as bad as the mass produced bocks.
