Downham Craft Cider was developed by Stephen Manton in 2014. Downham cider’s portfolio includes; a range of 6% alcoholic ciders, brewed using the finest apples.
Harvest starts for us in september and will run through to december. Once harvested the apples are then pressed and blended. In the spring our pure traditional cider is ready. Giving a refreshingly crisp cider.
Downham cider also produces a cider vinegar perfect for cooking or helping with your health.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Slightly hazed golden colour, short-lived bubbly head and aroma of apple, soured, acetic, funk. Taste is tart, tangy, appley, funky, acetic, with drying acidity and tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sourish dry tart & tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers Shawn! Clear golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruity, funk. Taste is apple, some leathery funk, fruity, solventy hint, and tartness, with drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
