Associated Venue: Mommeriete Brouwerij en Proeflokaal
Established in 2004

Aroma of wheat, banana, spicy yeast, citrus fruits. Flavour is fruity and sweetish. A surprisingly tasty Hefeweizen with some Witbier characteristics. ****** Enjoyed again at the brewery. As Mommeriete Weizen. Pretty citrussy Weizen. Wheat, yeast, soft banana. Easy and lightly hoppy, shades of Hopfenweisse in here.

From tap at Speciaalbier Café De Markies, Leeuwarden. Aroma is mildly smokey with dark malt, cocoa, powdery chocolate, light creamy, soft roast, and a touch of coffee. Flavour is medium sweet with some roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Nice Porter, only lightly smoked, with the cocoa dominating the aroma.

From tap at Mommeriete Brouwerij. More of a classic IPA than [NE]. Aroma is grapefruit, malt, some ripe-ish orange. Fairly sweet, moderate bitter. Medium body. Not bad, not brewed to style.

From tap at Mommeriete Brouwerij. Nicely roasty aroma with ash, smoke, roasted malt, chocolate. Chalky and bitter, some sweetness. Body could be more full. Good stuff, quite to my liking.
