500ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a a medium- sized white head. Aroma is yeast, lemongrass, herbs. Taste is medium sweet, honey, lemon. Medium bitter herbal hop finish.

500ml bottle. Pours pale gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is skunk (despite this being a brown bottle deal), butter, sulphur and grain. Taste is a little sour and really skunky. Wow, this tastes like a really bad pale lager from Armenia. Clearly it’s an infected bottle, the second of six from this brewery. Into the drain you go!

500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, toastiness, faint hops. Taste is caramel, biscuity malt, butterscotch, light bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Pours opaque dark brown with a tall beige head. Aroma is light roastiness, cocoa. Taste is light sweet, roasted malt, coffee. Light to medium bitter finish. Really drinkable.

500ml bottle, drank whilst looking at the Black Sea in Varna, Bulgaria. Pours hazy orange with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is piney hops, grain, some butter. Taste is light sweet, pine, medium bitter, earthy hops.

40cl pour ar MEAT in Sofia. Comes a clear amber with a film of white head. Nose has grist, orange, black tea, perfume. Flavor is sweet with malt and caramel, orange marmalade, sweet tea. Off dry finish.

Black Sea IPA? Seems like the perfect opportunity to make a black IPA, but alas, this 50cl bottle, with a leaking cap, poured a clear orange with plenty of frothy, white head. Nose is not real good, stale... stale malt, stale hops, stale couch, paper. Flavor is worse, dried leaves, paper, stale biscuit, candy. Not good.
