On tap at Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Almost black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt with notes of coffee and dark fruits and hints of smoke, wood, citrus and herbs. Medium sweet with nice, roasty flavours, lightly hoppy and with a well balanced bitterness. Nice and refreshing!

On tap at Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Slightly hazy deep golden to amber with a fairly decent off-white head. Aroma is dominated by citrus with notes of tropical fruits, yeast and hints of malt, pine and herbs. Moderate sweet with grapefruity flavour and an acidic and bitter finish. Bitter aftertaste with notes of grapefruit. Refreshing APA.

On tap at Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Almost clear amber with a rather small, off-white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with notes of peaches, mild citrus, malt and hints of pine, herbs and caramel. Moderate to medium sweet with quite balanced flavours and a fairly bitter and citrusy finish. Medium+ body with average carbonation. Well brewed - tasty and refreshing APA.

Complete black color with a creamy beige head on top. As long as the head last, it gives a great lacing. Unfortunately the head gave up to fast. Fine body with a smooth soft carbonation. Moderate sweet and a bit dry ending. Balanced bitterness. Mild aroma with coffee, roasted malt, mild chocolate and some citrus. A very fresh and balanced flavor. The citrus hopps lifted this ale to a fresh and fine brew. Especially at summer time. Coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. None to dominant.

A fine off white head that end up in a white layer and stay for a long time. Some lacing. Unusual mild aroma. Some rye, mild grapefruit hoppy and mild tropical fruity. Fine body and a god balance between sweetness and bitterness. Soft carbonation. Nice flavor with more dimensions than an usual IPA. Well balanced rye, hoppy, fruity and a bit mild spicy feeling. The last is probably because of the rye. Tasty nice IPA that I am looking forward to taste when it is upgraded!

My second from this brewery and I am still very happy. This one also looks just outstanding in my world. Unclear orange golden color with a fine white head. The head do not last very long but it remains as a white layer as long as there is beer in the glass. Lovely fruity aroma with some citrus coming up and making an ok balance. Fine body with a fresh bitterness. As it got warmer the bitterness almost killed the flavor. Really heavy bitterness after a while. Flavor do also contain a lot of tropical fruit and some mild acidic citrus to balance it. To me is a really damned lovely ale. I like it this way.

Lovely first impression. Perfect unclear orange golden color with a fine finger thick white head. Ok lacing down the glass. When you open it you get a fine mandarin aroma in your nose. Mmmmmm. Decent fine mild aroma with some citrus coming up first. Then some tropical fruits and a bit malty. Ok medium body with a moderate sweetness and a fresh bitterness. Ok carbonation, but can be a bit soft after a while. But then you have already finished it. Smooth nice flavor. No flavor to dominant. But citrus and tropical fruity are easy words to use. Fine balance and a god malty backbone. Not the most fancy beer for beer nerds. But I will definitely have more of this one. A really fresh and fine ale you can drink all night. Solid batch # 1 from these guys.
