Brewed 20.08.2014, BB 20.02,2015.Thanks to Cunningham!Marked batch #14.Hazy amber to light brown color, smallish yellow head. Phenolic, alcohol, roasted, cold coffee, kaffesump, chemical scent. Sort of sweet, alcohol, hard candy, phenolic taste. Medium mouthfeel to fizzy, medium low bitterness.

Bottled 50 cl, at rlgk + Aniela tasting, USA comes to Göteborg 2014, on October 18, 2014. Brewed 17.07.2014, BB 17.01,2015.Thanks to Cunningham!Marked 5.8% ABV, not 6.2%. Batch #8.Hazy amber color, smallish yellow head. Light rubbery phenolic, a bit hoppy scent. Fruity, bitter, herbal, citrus taste. Bitter, sweet, floral stems aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, high unbalanced harsh bitterness. Sort of unpleasant.

Bottle courtesy of Cunningham. Pours hazy goldenish brown with a small offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny fruity and tiny estery with dark bread, caramel, banana bread, coffee, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, orange zest and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, bitter, fruity and tiny estery with caramel, dark roast coffee, moist grass, pine needles, grapefruit juice, orange zest and hints of banana bread. Mouthfeel is round, slightly astringent and medium bodied. finish is tiny sweet and bitter with caramel, grapefruit rinds, coffee, grass, pine needles, orange zest and hints of banana bread. Smell is slightly malty and tiny fruity with bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, moist grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, tiny malty and tiny fruity with bread, caramel, grapefruit rinds, moist grass, pine needles, orange peal, lemon peal and hints of butter. Mouthfeel is astringent, tiny watery and light bodied. finish is bitter with bread, grapefruit rinds, moist grass, pine needles and orange peal. On tap at Øltorget, Oslo. Hazy golden with a white head. Hoppy aroma with lots of citrus, some pine and mild notes of pale malt and tropical fruits. Moderate sweet with a lovely fruitiness and a fine bitterness. Certainty a refreshing and decent APA.

Cloudy yellow color with a thick white head. Lovely lacing down the glass. Looks great. Powerful aroma. Walking on the edge this one. Could easily fallen over to the usual citra cat piss stuff. Lovely powerful citrus hoppy and mild tropical at the back. Nice body with ego carbonation. Became a little bit flat in the end. Mild sweetness with a fresh bitterness. Wild heavy citrus flavor nice balanced with a smooth mellow tropical fruity back. Lovely power citra ale

Another EGO to swallow. With pleasure. Can I nail him this time? BIPA is my favorite style. Starts black as The Raven with a fine beige head. Nice lacing also. Starts really well. Aroma…..mmmm oh yeah. Smooth and lovely tropical fruity, grapefruit, coffee and chocolate. I can sit a loooong time with my nose into this. Quite thick body. A pleasant soft carbonation makes it easy to drink. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Without the solid bitterness it would have been to sweet. I can not find anything wrong with the flavor. Just love this one! Tropical fruity, grapefruit hoppy, coffee and chocolate. Highly recomendable! One more please!

This rating will be a bit weird. Feels like three beers in one. If you you get a bottle that is really dark cloudy. Return it to the barman and ask for a new one. You understand if you taste it. If you get a hazy golden bottle or on tap. Drink it and be happy. If you get a light hazy or almost clear bottle or on tap. Enjoy it. You have got a really nice and clean ipa. No fuzzy stuff. Plain grapefruit hoppy and mild tropical fruit. Nice one! This was batch #10.
