Description
Telegraph Brewing Co. was Santa Barbara’s first craft brewery. Brian Thompson founded the Belgian-inspired brewery in 2006.

Early American brewers adapted traditional European brewing techniques to the unique ingredients, climates, and tastes of the New World. At Telegraph Brewing Co., our beers are handcrafted in that same manner at our brewery in Santa Barbara, California. Making use of as many locally grown ingredients as we can, Telegraph's ales embody our philosophy that a local brewery should reflect the traditions of its region. Our goal is to produce uniquely American beer styles that are imbued with a spirit of invention and creativity, but always with a nod toward history.

In 2017 Utah-based Epic Brewing purchased Telegraph.

Can. Orange blonde. Orange in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with orange and soft grassy notes, especially in the finish. The fruit dominates.

Magus, mõru, tsitrus - tavalised asjad. Magus aga mitte liialt, suht mahlane. Võib libistada küll, aga jälle liiga magus.

Can picked up from Beer Republic, Breda, Netherlands drinking this sat outside at home Attenkirchen Thursday 9th April 2020, weather is glorious, however we are now into day 22 of CORVID-19 enforced lockdown, listening to The Murder Capital - When I Have Fears. Pours hazy gold/orange with a filmy white head, it was much bigger but I didn't take notice until now. Sweetness shines through, a little orange, bitterness is subtle, a little bit pithy some boiled sweet orange.

Bottle shared by Ryan, thanks! Pours a near clear amber orange with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has bourbon and sweet grains with earthy caramel and toffee underlying. Flavor has earthy sweet grains and earthy caramel with a touch of toffee and bourbon backing.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours non-hazy copper with a white head. Aroma starts with a suggestion of honey, but moves to floral and fruit. Med body. Or nearly. Flavor is bitter. Merely hints at tropical. Fairly dry. Some roasty malt. BB 12 - 18 - 19. Don't know. It's like most of the hop flavors left, and the bitter remains.

Can 355ml (Beer Republic, no BB or it is removed)
Hazy dark orange colour, small white head and lace. Light passion fruit in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish tropical fruity, passion fruit and mango in the flavour. Not very citrusy so probably lost some of its charm.

21/7/2019. Sample, from can, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy/cloudy golden orange with a good sized foamy off-white head. Aroma of passion fruit, hops, grapefruit, citrus and flowers. Medium sweetness with light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Nice one.
