Look: opaque deep brown with near to no head. Aroma: dark malts, marzipan, Tonka beans, cookies (or waffles), alcohol. Taste: medium sweet, toasted, not much roasted character, alcohol, Tonka beans, marzipan, waffles. Flat ending. Palate: medium body, flat to soft carbonation. Overall: not exactly what you would expect from a forteen percent Russian Imperial Stout with Tonka beans.

Look: cloudy deep golden colour with a small white head of low retention. Aroma: dominant peach, raw water, lactic, candied citrus fruit. Taste: medium sweet, exaggerated peach, ale eaters, candied citrus. Low bitterness. Palate: medium body, soft carbonation. Overall: unbalanced. A great deal of doubt if it would fit the style. A bit off as well.

Look: cloudy bright yellow with a moderate white head of average retention. Aroma: catty, exotic fruit with papaya and passion fruit upfront, som citrus as well. Taste: light to medium sweet, tropical, moderately juicy, catty. Light to medium ending grapefruit bitterness. Palate: light to medium body, light carbonation. Overall: fairly decent, well drinkable. Probably a bit too catty.

Can 33 cl. Cloudy, brown, noisy foam. Aroma: sour and fruity, something very exotic, apparently the very guanabana, apple, a little vinegar. Taste: strange, sour, with a light sweetness, kiwi, gooseberries, berries and apple, a bit of vinegar, quite strange.

Look: slightly misted gold with a one finger tall off-white head of decent retention. Aroma: exotic fruit, catty feel, citrus, vinous notes. Taste: medium sweet, candied exotic fruit and citrus, obviously vinous, warming alcohol, medium ending bitterness. Palate: full body, medium carbonation. In general: powerful, moderately boozy, good.

Appearance: foggy bordeaux red with a small off-white head of decent retention. Aroma: forest berries, some dark fruit jam, light candy, lactic notes. Taste: Light sweet and medium sour, lots of forrest berries, lactic, tart stone fruit ending. Palate: light to medium body. lively carbonation. Overall. pretty simple still well tasting and good.
