Look: Intransparent brown with a one finger tall ivory-coloured head of low retention. Aroma: cocoa, vanilla cake, dark malts, blueberry jam. Taste: soursweet, cocoa and vanilla cake, blueberry jam, lactic notes. Dry ending. Palate: light to medium body. Soft carbonation. Overall: strange. Pastry sour ale. Weird to be honest. Not well tasting in my opinion.

Look: hazy ochre yellow with a small white head of low retention. Nose: vanilla, massive basil, citrus fruit, lactic acid. Taste: moderately sweet and sour, vanilla and basil upfront, lactic acid, distant grapefruit. Palate: full body, soft carbonation. Overall: obviously unique stuff of controversial balance.

Look: muddy deep brown with a small head of beige colour. Aroma: dark malts, cinnamon, almonds, higher spirits. Tonka? Maybe as well. Taste: medium sweet, toast, caramel, chocolate, brandy, cinnamon, no bitterness. Palate: medium to full body. Soft carbonation. Overall: a sweet dessert imperial stout with solid body and controversial balance.

Look: pours murky yellow with a decent white head of good retention. Aroma: catty exotic fruit with dominant lychee and passion fruit. Dank. Malt. Light hop burn. Taste: light to medium sweet, fruity, moderately juicy, tropical. Solid malt and warming alcohol. Light and soft hop bitterness. Palate: medium to full body. soft carbonation. Overall: Not outstanding but a good style representative. Solid.

Look: opaque deep brown to black with a small head of beige colour. Aroma: coconut, dark malts, cream, waffles, milk chocolate, a little shade of alcohol. Taste: not as sweet as the aroma would suggest. Roasted barley, coconut, dark chocolate, waffles, warming alcohol, appropriate bitterness. Palate: medium body, oily texture. Average carbonation. Overall: a little better than a basic pastry imperial stout.
