Clean. Sessionable. Juicy. Not a great fan of First Gold but this is done really well. Nice Rakau bite.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Huge thanks to the brewer for this gratis pour after the beer was officially โoffโ. Opaque black - brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is semi dry with good very fine carbonation. Rich dark malts but no roasty bitterness. Mild dark chocolate. Pinch of spice. Bubblegum esters. Light dry finish. Satisfyingly malty and rich without and dry bitterness to annoy.
