Very hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, smooth malt cream and a trace of caramel. Modest hop spice. Nice juicy berry fruits, blackberry seems most obvious. Whisper of esters. Smooth finish. Nice one. Very nice to have a good IPA with British Hops that isn’t all boil bitterness. A real nice change of pace.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Light haze on this deep amber beer, a few pale tan colour bubbles not forming a head. Smooth palate. Smooth brown malts, slightly earthy. Some spice and sweetish esters. Little earthy chocolate. Ripe fruits. Smooth dry finish shows some spice. Amusing but any biscuit character is subsumed.
