Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Murky amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweet and spicy citrus fruits. Little marmalade. Touch of dextrose sweet grit. Thin malts, underneath, some light cream. Finishes with more sweet and spicy fruits. Dry and bitterish finish. Decent.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Nice condition. Dry pale malts, some light and bitterish smoke. Light dry florlaness. Dry finish. Smoke is never welcome in a beer that doesn’t advertise itself as smoked. This is no exception. Okay.

500ml bottle bought at Hop Beer Bar in Chelmsford. Shared with djoeye, Finn and special guest Gunnar. Cloudy orange body under a rocky pearl white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Herbal hops and citrus on the nose. Hop fruity taste of orange and grainy malts. Herbal dry, distant bitter end. Soft on the swallow. Satisfying. (Session at Finn’s place 08.06.2017).

Cask (gravity) @ 33th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2016, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Round Tower Toffee Hammer ].Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, toffee, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet with a ling to average duration, sweet malt, chocolate, toffee. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161130] 5-3-5-3-10
