Description
Round Tower began brewing early 2013, the first brewery in Chelmsford since 1974. Started on a small scale but expanded to a brew length of 5 barrels.
Produce a constantly changing range of hop forward pale ales alongside seasonal brown beers, with only a Stout and a Black IPA as regular beers.

Gravicask at Chelmsford & Mid Essex Beer Festival. Clear golden body, low pearl white head. Nose is grass with citric hints. Similar taste of grassy hops backed by fruity notes. Mild drying end. Soft in the mouth. Fair enough (16.02.2017).

By gravicask at Chelmsford & Mid Essex Beer Festival. Almost black in the glass. Tiny fawn-coloured head. Poor lacing. Slightly roasted, mid-sweet malty on the nose. Nicely flavoured with caramel, chocolate malts and nuts. Smooth, mid-dry malty end. Fine bodied. Likable (16.02.2017).

Gravicask at Chelmsford & Mid Essex Beer Festival. Clear mahogany coloured body. Naked at the surface. Dotted spots on the glass. Chocolate malts and almond on the nose. Taste of toffee and chocolate malts. Rounded, slightly bitter ending. Easy to drink. Fair enough (16.02.2017).
