Beer Street, Brooklyn tap: pours dark brown with a light beige head. Aroma is dark fruits, hefty malts, licorice, light booze, sugar, and yeast. Taste is thick soppy and full of plums or raisins or something like that. This beer teetered me off the precipice of sobriety and into the shameful abyss of drunkeness. It felt heavy in booze but did not exactly taste such. Kind of ambivalent about this beer.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is farmhouse, yeasty, and a bit fruity. Taste is slightly fruity. Some veritable hoppiness. I find this hard to describe. Nice complexity. Pretty good.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours brown with off white head. Aroma is sprice and light chocolate. Taste is super spruce at first. Then it gets more dunkely and chocolatey. Pretty weird. Minimal elderberry. Good.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours a orange pink with a white head. Aroma is wild yeast and a light fruitiness. Taste is sweet and slightly sour, but more of the wild yeast. Not too bad of a beer.

Sample at Proletariat. Clear orange color with a medium thin bone white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Medium body with a sweet malty character and notes of caramel and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Proletariat. Hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of funky fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of funky yeast, fruity hops and malt. The finish is tart white grape and citrusy hops. Pretty good all around.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, beautiful mix of lychee fruits, grapes, light acidity, well balanced. In mouth, a nice tart sweet lychee with light cotton candy, mandarin, light citrus pulp, very nice. On tap at brewery.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity banana malt with cloves and light curacao, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light banana esters and smooth cloves, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
