At the source: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is apricot, lots of citrus, heavy sugary malt backbone. Taste is slightly bitter. It is kind of sugary. Lots of apricot or some similar fruity taste in it. Really ain’t my favorite beer. I think the sorachi ace kind of ruined it for me.

At the source: Pours murky yellow-gold with a white head. Aroma is bready pale malts, must, and a whole bunch of citrus. The malt backbone is really the best part of the beer. The finish and the aftertaste are really nice. I don’t think that this is a beer for everybody, but it really piqued my taste.

At the source: Pours brown with little to no head. Aroma is sour malts, bread, some kvass. Taste is rather sour with a nice bready backbone. This is simple, but very nicely done. I liked it.

Draft - Nice sweet grapefruit and some pine. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Fruity sweet manipulation and Skunky pine. An odd combination but worked well here with some nice sweetness. Much better than expected.

Draft - Light sweet grain. Pale hazy gold with a thin white head. Sweet and light tart citrus with the usual sop notes. Sweet, tart and simple. Can’t ask for more.

Arts and Crafts Beer Parlor, NYC tap: pours hazy yellow with white head. Some dank aromas... Some yeast. Overall it was a good aroma. Taste is pretty food. Some dryness. Minimal bitterness. Not very IPA like. Not bad though.

Draught at Dirck the Norseman. Slightly cloudy pale yellow with large foamy white head, fruity aroma, high carbonation, tastes like malt with a hint of citrus, medium finish with lemon peel aftertaste. Nice and refreshing brew.

Draught at Dirck the Norseman. Dark amber color with small foamy beige head that endures quite a long time, vanilla like aroma, high carbonation, salty caramel taste, long sticky finish. Quite interesting with the saltiness and stickiness.
