Description
A fiercely independent, family owned brewery based next to the oldest Dock in London. We are proud to be in an area with such a proud industrial heritage, where the first IPA’s were shipped from. Whilst using traditional brewing techniques, we like to create our beers with a modern twist and we only use the best quality ingredients. We believe a good beer should be packed with flavour, but above all it should be balanced. This is what we aim to achieve in every beer we produce. All our beer is brewed and bottled in-house by hand, with the utmost care and attention. Enjoy.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Offie and Toffee (Bethnal Green). Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a creamy, off-white head. Leafy hops in the nose, some toasted grains, phenolics, faint plastic. Light sweet flavour with more phenolic notes, more toasty grains, earth, wood, leaves, faint tobacco, grass. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Faintly astringent on the finish, with hints of plastic, more grains, husky and grassy bitterness, grainy and lightly toasted malts, hints of dried berries. So so overall.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, copper-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly strange, fruity and hoppy aroma, hints of partially overripe yellow stone fruit, mainly apricot, hints of quince, a herbal touch. Taste is minimally tart fruity, dry hoppy, notes of quince, a touch of yellow stone fruit, some peppery, yeasty spiciness. Well... don’t know if the Saison resemblance is intended... let’s say it’s a decent Belgian APA.

Bottle thanks to Ol’ Dirty D. It pours clear golden - amber with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, banana, nougat, cereal, candy, toffee and stone fruits. The taste is crisp, bitter, peppery spice, cereal, straw, banana, earth and bread with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. OK, but doesn’t stand out from the crowd.

Craft Islington bottleshare. Thanks to Danny. Hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy and dry, good fine carbonation. Thin malts, trace of cream. Spicy floral mid with bubblegum esters emerging. Mild floral citrus on the backend. Dry spicy finish. Bit dry and lacks something to pull it all together.
