Description
8 Wired is a micro brewing company based in Warkworth, New Zealand.

Our mission is to produce mind blowing beers that will wow craft beer lovers, excite fellow beer geeks and educate the mis-guided who still believe that "beer is just beer". If you want to come on this journey with us, please get in touch.

8 Wired Brewing is inspired by the legendary Kiwi can-do mentality and fellow craft brewers who have dared to challenge the masses and show us all that beer is no longer “just beer”! Known for producing “New world interpretations of old world styles” 8 Wired have multiple shades of very hoppy IPAs, Saisons, Porters and Stouts in their permanent line up and have the biggest barrel aged and sour program in the southern hemisphere.

After 5 years of contract brewing, eventually at 4 different breweries across New Zealand we now finally have our very own brewery (In Warkworth, North of Auckland) where we brew and package everything.

Can. Nearly black with an inch of beige head that lasts OK and laces well. Aroma of mocha, moderate roast, then orange, grapefruit, some nectarines. Just medium bodied. There's a touch of roast (and less coffee than suggested by the aroma) but mostly there's an almost silky platform for the fruity hops. Not complicated, just very well balanced and delicious.
