Description
We've been in the pub trade all our lives. Sold millions of gallons of beer, operated and owned some of the best brands in the business. But never had our own brewery… and that just wouldn't do. So here comes Collyfobble – beltingly good ales from our little barn in Barlow. Cheers!

22/5/2019. Cask at The Dove Street Inn Spring Festival, Ipswich. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, moderate roasted malt, vanilla, coffee and caramel. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and a tart hint.Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Chocolate and coffee finish with a little veg. Decent brew.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Vague malty aroma. Pale gold. Hazy at first but clears up. Bubbly white head. Light spirits. Like watered down lemon juice. Thin. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry finish. Bland but drinkable.

Tried at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Pale golden colour with a white head. Light citrus, slight malty. Taste light bittersweet. Medium body.

ABV: 4.3%. Clear light to medium yellow - amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, moderate yeasty, UK yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171014]
